Well, stop rolling around and get to your consoles because Freddy is waiting for you! Check out his vignette below. They aren’t just throwing him into the game, but gave him a sweet back story as to why he is in the game and why he has 2 claws.

Skarlet is the 1st of 4 new Mortal Kombat characters that you will be able to buy and kill with. The cost (per character) is going to be $4.99 on the Playstation 3, or 400 Microsoft Total Bullshit Points on the Xbox 360. June 21st the characters will be released, so expect to see the rest quite soon.

Also coming out June 21st are 2 klassic skins for free. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, inspired Cyrax and Sektor. Mortal Kombat is out now on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, and you should probably pick it up seeing as it’s the best MK game ever. READ MORE

Want a closer look at Scorpion from the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot? I knew you would, and as a little bonus you can also briefly watch as Scorpion opens a massive can of flaming whoopass on poor, unsuspecting Sub Zero in the video below.

Yeah, that’s pretty awesome. With each new video I see for this game I get a little more excited about it, and that’s coming from someone who’s never been much of a fan of, or terribly adept at fighting games.
