Just think how proud grandma will be when you whip out that nice jazzbox and start strumming some ‘Vomit The Soul’. Not her cup of tea? Well, just casually shift into some ‘Devoured By Vermin’ to shut her up and make her soil her depends. The book is now available to order through your local music retailer.

Cannibal Corpse will be hitting the road for a 17 date run that takes the band through the east coast, south, and Midwest. The mighty CANNIBAL CORPSE will be kicking things off on Friday November 5th in Wilmington, NC at The Soapbox Laundrolounge and will finish things up on Monday November 22nd in Asheville, NC at The Orange Peel. Joining Cannibal Corpse on the road is Dying Fetus, Vital Remains, and Devourment. The tour is being brought to fans by BC Rich, Metal Blade Records, Good Fight Entertainment, and Relapse Records. Blood In The Gears was recorded and produced by The Showdown’s own Jeremiah Scott (bass) at his home studio, Anthem Productions. The album was mixed by Steve Blackmon (Living Sacrifice, Project 86), with Troy Glessener at Spectre handling the mastering. Artwork comes courtesy of Ryan Clark at Invisible Creature Inc. Blood In The Gears is The Showdown’s second Solid State release, following 2008’s Back Breaker.
Florida based death metal legends Malevolent Creation
have uploaded the song “Slaughterhouse” to the band’s Myspace page
. The track comes from their upcoming 11th studio outing entitled Invidious Dominion, which will be released on August 24 in North America via Nuclear Blast.
Invidious Dominion was produced and recorded by Erik Rutan (Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Krisium, Goatwhore) at Mana Studios in Florida. The cover art was brought to life this time around by renowned artist Pär Olofsson (The Faceless, Immortal, Abysmal Dawn).

Summer Slaughter – North America’s most extreme tour for underground metal – is returning to the U.S. and Canada in July!
The 31-date tour features headliners Decapitated from Poland plus The Faceless, All Shall Perish, The Red Chord, Veil Of Maya, Cephalic Carnage, Decrepit Birth, Carnifex, Animals As Leaders, and Vital Remains and launches in San Diego, California on July 17th. Tickets will cost between $18 – $20 in advance almost everywhere with the exception of Los Angeles and New York City.

Boston, Mass grind metalers The Red Chord are confirmed for this summer’s Summer Slaughter Tour featuring Decapitated, The Faceless, All Shall Perish, Veil of Maya, Cephalic Carnage, Decrepit Birth, Carnifex, Animals As Leaders, and Vital Remains. The tour kicks off in San Diego, CA on Saturday July 17 and finishes up in San Francisco, CA on Monday August 23.
Here’s what bassist Greg Weeks has to say about being out on the tour; “Summer Slaughter! Looking forward to old friends, new friends, borrowed and blue friends, cookouts, dance-offs, smelly people, burgers, long van rides, karate lessons, octopus balls, seedy areas, elastic waistband jeans, laughter and enjoying myself.
