The Bermuda Triangle

The logline is being kept under wraps, but the ambition is to use the Bermuda Triangle mythology–planes and ships go missing–and turn it into a tent pole action franchise.

Sanctum 3D (aka The Occupants & The Dionaea House)

Absolute Angels

“Angels,” described as a female take on 1987′s “The Lost Boys,” centers on a high school outsider who is invited to join the cheerleading squad only to find out the girls are a pack of vampires.

Creepshow (remake)

Although in the original anthology the stories — which were written in the old 1950s EC Comics style — were unconnected, the plan is to structure the new movie a la “Go,” where individual stories will have interconnected characters and situations

The Witches

This Roald Dahl classic tells the scary, funny and imaginative tale of a seven-year-old boy who has a run-in with some real-life witches! “In fairy tales witches always wear silly black hats and black cloaks and they ride on broomsticks. But this is not a fairy tale. This is about REAL WITCHES. REAL WITCHES dress in ordinary clothes and look very much like ordinary women. They live in ordinary houses and they work in ordinary jobs. That is why they are so hard to catch.” Witches, as our hero learns, hate children. With the help of a friend and his somewhat-magical grandmother, our hero tries to expose the witches before they dispose of him.

Heart-Shaped Box

The book, published in February, centers on a rock star obsessed with the occult who buys a suit advertised at an online auction site as haunted by its dead owner’s ghost. He ultimately is forced to confront the ghost and the demons of his own past.

Aging rock star Judas Coyne is a collector of bizarre and macabre artifacts: a used hangman’s noose, a snuff film, and rare books on witchcraft. When he purchases a suit billed in an online auction as the haunted clothes of a recently deceased man, Coyne finds more than he bargained for. Everywhere he looks he sees the twisted spirit of an old and evil man following him and dangling a deadly razor on a chain. He learns that the suit belonged to Craddock McDermott, the stepfather of a former lover who committed suicide shortly after Coyne tossed her out of his life. McDermott, a professional hypnotist prior to his death, swore to destroy Coyne’s rock-star life of self-indulgence to avenge her death. The behind-the-scenes look at stardom alongside the frightening pyrotechnics of McDermott’s ghost will draw in teens who really enjoy a good scare. But like all good ghost stories, Hill also crafts a deftly plotted mystery as McDermott’s true motivations and powers unfold.

Deadman (TV)

Deadman is the ghost of a murdered circus acrobat who has the power to possess the living in order to seek out his killer, as well as to help the innocent.

Weekend Warrior

“Weekend Warrior” revolves around an armchair home-repair enthusiast with no construction skills who unwittingly becomes a superhero who fights supernatural forces bent on destroying the world. Idea is to create a “Ghostbusters”-like comic romp that’s heavy on special effects.

The Unforgettable

Originally titled “Species X,” the film centers on a cop who in the course of a murder investigation realizes that he is not human and uncovers a war between good and evil aliens. It is based on the video game “The Condemned: Criminal Origins.”

Dark Moon

The spec explores the possibility that manned moon missions did not stop with Apollo 17. Using found footage, it makes the case for a black ops post-Apollo mission sent to the moon to explore previously classified discoveries and its unintended and disturbing consequences.
