Evanescence will be releasing their video for What You Want next Tuesday on Vevo but we’ve got a 20-second clip for you to check out after the jump. The clip shows the band rocking out in front of a crowd as well as brooding shots of singer Amy Lee walking along a pier (at least that’s what it looks like). Check it out and get excited for the upcoming self-titled third studio album.
Say whatever you want, but the upcoming release of Evanescence‘s third album, which is self-titled, is generating a lot of industry and fan buzz. Considering that it’s been five years since The Open Door, it’s no wonder. Personally, I thought only Tool had that kind of staying power, but it looks like there is something about Amy Lee that keeps people drawn in. To tease fans just a little more, Evanescence has released the official artwork for the upcoming album, which drops October 11th. Personally, I think it’s a bit plain and uninventive. Official tour dates for the Evanescence, Rival Sons, and The Pretty Reckless tour have been released. The tour goes for just over three weeks and hits several of the major cities in North America. Evanescence will be touring in support of their new, self-titled album, which is their first new release in five years.
