Knoxville, Tennessee’s Whitechapel have just released the new track ‘The Darkest Day of Man,’ off of the bands 3rd full-length release (second for Metal Blade), A New Era of Corruption due out June 8th. “The first single we have released from the new album A New Era of Corruption is titled ‘The Darkest Day of Man’ (which can be heard HERE). We played it live during our overseas touring at the beginning of this year in Australia and the UK and were getting a great response from the crowd for it. I feel this song perfectly demonstrates how we have progressed as a band musically and in our song writing, but have not stepped away from our signature Whitechapel sound,” comments guitarist and founding member Alex Wade.
Tennessee’s deathcore act Whitechapel have announced the track listing as well revealed the artwork for the upcoming third full length “A New Era Of Corruption”. The album features artwork done by Brent Elliot White who has also done album covers for bands Carnifex and Job For A Cowboy. “A New Era Of Curruption” also features guest spots by Vincent Bennett Of The Acacia Strain and Chino Moreno of Deftones. The album is due out June 8th and will be released through Metal Blade. There will also be a single released April 12 with a video to follow, no telling what single that is but you can bet BD will have it up as soon as it’s released.
