Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon (4)

This Launch Trailer For ‘Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon’ Is Among The Best I’ve Ever Seen

Not often does a trailer move me with its absolute awesomeness. Well, the launch trailer for Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is one of those few. I can sit here and try to explain to you how the Grindhouse trailer guy voices this trailer, or how it’s one of the biggest best nods to 80′s actions flicks. Or about how the game takes place in 2007 because back in the 80s they thought the 2000′s were going to literally look like outer space. Just head past the break and check out cool it is. And buy the game right now on the Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and Steam.

‘Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon’ Perfectly Spiced With That 80′s Flair You’ve Been Missing

Thanks to Lonnie for the heads up on this. Coming May 1st as a standalone downloadable game is Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. From the video it seems it doesn’t actually have anything to do with Far Cry 3, though there could be some nods later in the game. The guys over at IGN got a chance to check out the first 15 minutes of the game, and god damn does it look like fun. The game gives off a hardcore 80′s action movie vibe, and it’s hilarious and knows it. Right off the bat from the music, to achievements to the dialogue, it starts referencing some of classics from that magical era. Check out the video past the break. Trust me it’s worth watching through to the end.

Learn How To Easily Distract Zombies In This New ‘State Of Decay’ Video

State Of Decay formerly known as Class3 is an open world zombie apocalypse MMO currently in the works for the PC and Xbox Live Arcade. The awesomeness about that is since it’s on XBLA it should be a decently cheap price. The only thing I’m worried about is the length of the game. You hear MMO and you think endless hours and hours of gameplay. But will it be limited because of it’s Xbox Live release? Only time will tell. I do know, it looks awesome and I’m quite excited. And I’m hoping for some awesome co-op gameplay. Speaking of gameplay, check out the Distraction Gameplay video past the break.

It includes the original game, and the 2nd game ToeJam & Earl: Panic on Funkotron. Zombie Driver Just Crashed Into Your Xbox 360

I’m not sure if any of you remember Zombie Driver. I posted about it so long ago I’m not sure if I even had pubes. Ok, well maybe not that long ago. The easiest way to sum up Zombie Driver is think original Grand Theft Auto. Except you drive around in a totally modded kick ass car destroying zombies. Previously released on the PC, but now downloadable on the Xbox Live Arcade. You can pick it up for 800 Splattered Microsoft Zombies. Check out a trailer past the breaks, and more screenshots.

Deadlight Is So Close To Release I Can Hear The Zombies Scratching From Inside My Xbox

I’m not going to lie to you folks, but sometimes I really hate Xbox’s release schedule. What exactly is he talking about, you might be wondering? Well, in the Chicagoland area where I live, let’s say Deadlight is coming out tomorrow August 1st. Well, it really is coming out tomorrow. HOWEVER, it usually comes out at 5am my time on Xbox Live. Between 4 and 5am is usually when I go to sleep. Which for me can mean I won’t be able to play it until I wake up at about 2pm. Why can’t they release the damn game at midnight!? Sorry for ranting, enough of that. Below is the Deadlight launch trailer because yes the game comes out tomorrow August 1st (probably at 5am, bastards) exclusively for the Xbox 360 Arcade.

The Walking Dead Episode 2 Has ‘Great’ Written All Over It

If you haven’t already experienced The Walking Dead game yo may want to give it a shot. I’ve got to say, it’s weird and not like any game I’ve ever played. But it’s definitely fun and will mess with your nerves. If you do play it, never let your guard down because that’s when you’ll get wrecked. Below you can check out the accolades trailer where a bunch of sites say nice things about the game and give it some damn good reviews.

Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD Is Out, Time To Do Some Thumb Exercises

Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD came out yesterday and the timing couldn’t be more perfect. It’s been raining quite a bit in Chicago/Chicagoland the past couple days. Don’t get me wrong, I’m ecstatic about it because we’ve pretty much been going through a drought followed by random high humidity heat waves. When I play most Tony Hawk games I want to go out and skate afterwards. But I can’t, so I’ve been inside playing more Tony Hawk instead. Upon the release of the game, it was also announced they are working on even more levels for DLC. The maps in THPS HD are taken from the 1st and 2nd game, the 1st DLC will contain maps from THPS 3. Check out this video as Tony Hawk tells you all about it.

Hopefully the game will do well enough that they will keep releasing new maps as DLC. If you head past the break you can check out a new trailer, tons screenshots, and game features.

I’m Getting A Good Feeling About Deadlight

Most people find developer diaries pretty boring. I however love them. If you really pay attention you can see the heart and soul that these people pour into games. Instead of tearing through a game, a developer diary really helps you pay attention to the detail and beauty in games. These Deadlight Diaries are some of the best I’ve seen. These guys know what they’re doing. Which get’s me even more excited for the game. See what I mean, check out the video below.

Deadlight comes out August 1st exclusively in the Xbox Live Arcade.

‘NiGHTS Into Dreams’ The Sega Saturn Classic Is Making A Comeback!

The single game that made me buy a Sega Saturn? Nights. Why? Because back in the day flying was a big deal. Now we have tons of games where you fly around like it’s no big deal. But back in the days of the glorious Sega Saturn, a game like Nights opened up the minds of young gamers like myself to glorious new worlds. Well, coming this fall to the PC, Playstation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade NiGHTS Into Dreams will be re-released in HD. Wondrous HD. Lots more past the break!

Alien Fear, Downloadable Beautiful Action Packed Beauty

Alien Fear is an upcoming first person shooter that’s running on Unreal 3. It’s coming out for the Playstation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade and looks damn good for a downloadable game. It’s pretty amazing to see how far games are coming year to year. Alien Fear looks as good as a lot of full price games that are out there. I don’t yet know if there will be much to the story, but you and other commandos are on a sabotage mission. It sounds like non stop action with friends just going to town on aliens. Alien Fear is looking to be released this fall.

E3 2012: Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD Is Making Me Want To Dust Off My Skateboard

I used to skate many a year ago. I was never any good at it. But when I see Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD assets, I just want to grab my board and go hurt myself. The full soundtrack was announced which you can check out past the break. But I have to say I’m quite disappointed that there is only 1 song from THPS1 on there. It’s Goldfinger, and I love me some Goldfinger, but seriously that 1st games music as by far the best. Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD will be out sometime this summer, no official release date yet for the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network. The game will run you 15 bucks, which I will happily pay for. Screens, soundtrack, and game info past the break.

Deadlight Can Take My Money Any Day

Back in January Deadlight was announced. Since January I’ve been steadily getting more and more pumped for Deadlight and you should too. The Fear Yourself Story Trailer you can watch past the break is incredible, and gives you a small look into what’s going on in the game. It uses gameplay and an interactive comic to tell the story. Almost has a Walking Dead feel to it except for the fact that you’re alone. Deadlight is looking at a 3rd quarter release this year exclusively for the Xbox Live Arcade.

Deadlight Is Starting To Look Like One Of The Best Downloadable Games Ever

I’ve got to say, I couldn’t be more excited for Deadlight. If you’ve played Shadow Complex, I would definitely compare it to that. But in a dark zombie like way. A 2D’esq sidescroller with incredibly detailed 3D backgrounds make this game super original and kick ass looking. If you head past the break you can check out a developer diary from Tequila Works all about Deadlight. You can tell these guys love what they do, and are meticulous about the creation process.

Deadlight Is Taking Zombie Side Scrolling To A Whole New Level

Until now we have only had a chance to see some screenshots from Deadlight. A side scrolling zombie game, where you are a single man trying to survive as he makes his way across North America. There have been quite a bit of new side scrolling games via Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network in recent years. The gameplay video you can check out past the break shows you side scrolling in a whole new light. While still keeping things dark, dingy, and gritty just how a zombie game should be. Check it out past the break and expect to see Deadlight exclusively on the Xbox Live Arcade this summer.

This I Am Alive Dev Diary Promises A Lot. Can They Deliver?

I Am Alive is taking survival games to the next level. By that I mean they are making it incredibly real. Some would say the more real life you make a game the less fun it would be. I’ve definitely encountered people who have said things along the lines of “Whatever, that would never happen, it doesn’t make sense.” Well, technically that’s what video games are for. Giving us everything we can’t have in real life. Check out the video and draw up your own conclusion.

Tony Hawk HD Screens Make Skateboarding Look Fun Again

I’m gonna tell it like it is. I did not have fun playing Skate. I mean, I know they were going for realism with the game, and they nailed it. A lot of people liked the game. I just couldn’t get into it. I skated for years and sucked my ass off at it. So naturally I loved to pick up a game like Tony Hawk and grind my balls off.

4 Tony Hawk HD Screens Make Skateboarding Look Fun Again

Past the break you can check out some pretty awesome looking screens from the new HD deliciousness. Also, a decent amount of game info. It should be coming this summer to the Playstation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade. The cost? 15 dollars. Or, 1200 Broken Skateboards. READ MORE
