PewPewPewPewPewPewPewPewPew is an Xbox Live Arcade Indie game, which means no matter what, it costs 1 dollar. Or 80 Microsoft Laser Blasts. In PewPewPewPewPewPewPewPewPew 2 people use 2 microphones to control 1 shape shooting space man.
Both players use their voices to separately control certain aspects of Samson, who is a recently divorced cyber explorer. Not really sure the significance of that, but I like it. Using grunts, groans, pews, and pops, you destroy the onslaught of various shapes. Look for the game soon in the Xbox Indie Games section. READ MORE
Yes, someone made a game like this. It was only a matter of time. Even better, it sold so well, as in the biggest selling indie game on Xbox Live Arcade. So naturally, they made a sequel. Just watch the video.
The idea is simple. Keep the baby in the air as long and as far as possible by bouncing it off of the bounceable objects. The game only costs 1 dollar, so if you want to sit around one day and laugh your ass off, I totally recommend this game, and the original. Screens past the break. READ MORE
What have us horror gamer fans always wanted? An open world zombie apocalypse game. What are we FINALLY getting? An open world zombie apocalypse game. My 1 qualm? It’s for Xbox Live Arcade. While yes the price point will be solid, I’m still skeptical of the game itself. None the less I remain giddy.
Undead Labs is developing and Microsoft is publishing the game code named “Class 3″. No word yet if that is the official title, but that is what it will be known as for right now. More past the break… READ MORE

Released back in September, Hydrophobia was not received well by gamers and critics. So what did developers Dark Energy Digital do? They listened. Finally! A developer that listens! They ended up fixing and improving TONS of aspects of the game. The list is huge. They released an update for the fixes at no cost to the gamers, and even dropped the price of the game.
Well if you thought that was it, you and I were both wrong. Dark Energy Digital has started a listening post.
It seems like they will be expanding the Hydrophobia universe and they want the fans to help them build it. They want to know what the fans want to see, and even more aspects they can fix and improve on. You can head HERE to voice your opinion. More past the break! READ MORE

A lot of you probably don’t remember playing the X-Men Arcade game, and a lot of you (sadly) probably don’t really remember arcades. There sure aren’t many arcades left. The random nickel arcade, or a few games in a restaurant, bar, bowling alley or movie theater. Dave and Busters, eh sort of, and Gameworks. But the true arcades are mostly gone forever, and they show no signs of making a comeback.
So, what’s the next best thing? Bringing the old classics to the items that destroyed the arcades. The next gen systems. You can get X-Men with 6 player YES 6 player co-op on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. You can get it for $9.99 on the PSN or 800 Microsoft Murder For Sport Bucks on XBL. Screens past the break. READ MORE
Those who have already dove into the exciting old school world of Scott Pilgrim will be excited to know about the new DLC for the game. It’s out now for the Playstation 3, and will be out later this month on the Xbox 360. a playable Knives Chau character, and two new game modes: Battle Royale and Dodge Ball. If that doesn’t make your pixels pop, Ubisoft is also releasing a free patch, which upgrades the player’s original gameplay to co-op. READ MORE
Everyone likes cheap games right? Well, the indie section of Xbox Live is the best place to cheap out. And that is exactly where you can find Mutant Zombie Onslaught. It looks exactly like a million other zombie games. 3rd person platformers that look like Super Smash TV.
The game only costs 1 dollar, so you really can’t go wrong. Features past the break. READ MORE
I was lucky enough to see Scott Pilgrim in theaters just before it was pulled. The theater was empty aside from my cohorts and I. Just the way I like it. I can be loud and obnoxious and that makes me happy. The movie (I thought) was incredible. Lot’s of fun, lots of action, nerd references left and right. A video game a comic book lovers delight.
So what better to follow up the movie? The game of course. Just like in the movie you must battle through Romona Flowers’ evil ex’s to win her love and prove you can be with her. In sweet 8-Bit graphics. Check out more info past the break. READ MORE
Yeah, you read that title right. And it’s about DAMN time this starts happening more. I’m sure all of you semi oldies like me remember spending countless hours in arcades, Pizza Huts, movie theaters, just to name a few. Playing X-Men, and many other classic arcade games. Can we get the Simpsons arcade game on the consoles next?
The game will have 6 player drop in co-op. Which basically means you should be able to drop in an out of online games with your friends as you please. You will also be able to choose your difficulty if you are feeling like an arcade expert badass. Screen shots past the break. The exact release is not yet known, but it looks like it will be out this fall on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. READ MORE

It’s tough following the excellent games the annual Summer of Arcade gave us this year. This time around there was something for everyone; If you have a friend there’s the fantastic cooperative Lara Croft title, if you have more than one friend there’s Monday Night Combat, or if you like to go it alone there’s Limbo. So Shank was following a great lineup of games. READ MORE
Limbo wasn’t on my radar until I was exposed to a trailer for the game a few months back. I definitely have more of an eclectic taste in games, something that’s essentially a must have quality when you write about them, but I definitely enjoy the lonely, atmospheric games more than others. Sure I can spend countless hours in one shooter after another, but it’s games like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and Silent Hill that really tickle my fancy. Now, I’m very happy to say I can add Limbo to that list. READ MORE
Many of you have played Plants Vs Zombies all over the place. But finally, FINALLY it is getting a big system release. PVZ will be coming out for the Xbox Live Arcade sometime in early September for 1200 Microsoft Space Bucks. They aren’t just re-releasing the game as is, they are giving you plenty more than previously released.
“With a ton of new features and content exclusive to the XBLA version, we’ve pulled out all the stops to both expand and optimize this adaptation for a hard core gaming audience,” said Ed Allard, head of worldwide studios at PopCap. “The two new multiplayer modes allow gamers to work cooperatively to defeat hordes of invading zombies, or go head-to-head in a true ‘plants vs. zombies’ challenge. We’re also featuring a customized ‘house’ for tracking and sharing progress as well as a total of 21 mini-games and 12 achievements, all designed to enthrall Plants vs. Zombies players once again.”READ MORE
Castlevania Harmony Of Despair has pretty much everything you could ever want in a Castlevania game. And by that I mean, it’s on Xbox Live Arcade, it’s old skool classic looking, and you can play it with 5 of your friends co-op.

The game will be released on Xbox Live only August 4th for 1200 Microsoft Space Bucks. Screens past the break. READ MORE
Yes, you read it correctly. It’s only a matter of time before I can pawn off my Dreamcast. Sonic Adventure and Crazy Taxi will be the 1st arriving, but that wont be until the fall. The games will have achievements and trophies implemented, along with upgraded graphics and surround sound. Online leaderboards as well, and hopefully for certain games online multiplayer (fingers crossed).
“The Dreamcast is fondly remembered by a large community of dedicated fans as a console that was ahead of its time in terms of graphics, quality and online gaming” commented Haruki Satomi, VP of Digital Business at SEGA of America and SEGA Europe. “There are few things that are more requested from us than making Dreamcast classics available for download in today’s digital market place. We’re very excited to begin offering gamers our beloved Dreamcast titles again on the current console systems.”READ MORE

What you thought I was kidding about zombie day? No no, plenty of zombies to go around. PopCap’s Plants Vs Zombies has bumped Bejeweled out of the number 1 spot taking the title of “Best iPhone Game Launch Ever.” In a mere 9 days the game sold over 300,000 copies. The game sells for $2.99 on in the Apple Store.
It has already been said that the game has made over 1 million dollars from the Apple Store alone! That’s pretty awesome, especially with all the zombie games out there in the mobile phone world.
