Netflix Brought Bare-Bones DVD to the Internet. YEAH’s Got The Special Edition.

Launching tomorrow is YEAH, a Facebook app that takes some of the most iconic genre movies ever – Ghostbusters, Scream, The Shining, Child’s Play, Reservoir Dogs, Superman, Halloween, The Exorcist, etc. – and surrounds them with interviews, behind-the-scenes secrets, quizzes, polls and much more. YEAH lets you watch your favorite movies dissected in ridiculous detail by people who love them as much as you do. It’s a true fan’s dream.

Netflix brought the bare-bones DVD to the Internet. YEAH’s got the special edition.

The YEAH team has spent months curating brand new content for the most badass movies ever made, learning everything there is to know about them; every secret, factoid, and buried revelation. They’ve interviewed legends like Richard Donner, John Carpenter and Wes Craven, and many more.

It’s alway a magical experience when the stadium lights turn off and thousands of voices let out a massive roar of excitement and anticipation. It’s the feeling that we’re all one in our appreciation of the music that is about to come. So it was a few days ago in Detroit, Michigan when Linkin Park took the stage at the home of the Red Wings, the Joe Louis Arena. After a surprisingly fun set from opener Does It Offend You, Yeah? and a great set from Pendulum, the crowd was pumped up and ready for a show. And that’s precisely what Linkin Park delivered: a show. Playing a vast set list that hit songs from every album, no fan was left disappointed. The Detroit show also marked the first time that the song ‘Blackout’ was performed live.

Linkin Park Announce Early 2011 Headline Tour

Linkin Park have announced an early 2011 North American headlining tour in support of their newest album, ‘A Thousand Suns’. Supporting acts will vary through the tour but will include Pendulum (awesome band!), Does It Offend You, Yeah?, and The Prodigy (I would love to see these guys live). The last date has an as of yet to be determined opener. Check out the tour dates after the jump.

As a bonus, each person who purchases a ticket will be able to download a live recording of the show that they are attending by texting a mobile code which will be displayed at the arena. Also, one dollar from each ticket sold will go to Music For Relief, a charity founded by Linkin Park, which brings relief to victims of natural disasters.
