The Dude May Join ‘R.I.P.D.’

With Ryan Reynolds obligated to take on Green Lantern sequels if the upcoming adaptation does well, co-star Zack Galifianakis exited Robert Schwentke’s supernatural comedy R.I.P.D. due to potential scheduling conflicts.

But now it appears like Universal is looking to replace him with one of everyone’s favorite actors – Jeff Bridges – in the role of Roy Powell, a gunslinger who’s been dead for a couple of hundred years.

Negotiations are currently happening and if he ended up signing on, it could breath new life into my enthusiasm for the film.
