Winter and Snow Horror

as i'm sure most folks here are moved by seasonal changes to explore horrors that fall into various themes, i too love to watch winter and snow-based horrors in the winter. lately, it's been so delightfully cold and we just got some snow, that my desire for wintery horror movies is at a fever pitch.
christmas-themed movies usually have snow in them, so movies like silent night, deadly night, gremlins, and black christmas all fall into this category, but i'm also a big fan of other, non-christmas wintery flicks.
i recently watched 30 days of night, which i love, and which probably does the best job of any movie of creating a wintery, snowbound environment out of sound stages ans props. i can see fake snow a mile away, but slade and company do a really great job of making things feel authentic.
i love the brood. the snowy cold contrasts nicely with the warm interiors, not to mention the rage.
adam green's frozen is, in my opinion, a very underappreciated movie. i have a couple of qualms--zip up your jackets, idiots, because it's hard to believe y'all are freezing to death when you haven't bothered to properly dress yourselves--but it's tense, dark, and sad. and awesome.
what're some of y'all's favorites. i assume it goes without saying that the thing (ideally both of them, er, the first two) is on our lists, but what else?
