TSA Agents in Atlanta Confiscated a Freddy Glove and Made Hilarious Instagram Post

It’s a good thing Freddy never needed to fly to get around.

Yesterday, a passenger at the Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta, Georgia was pulled aside by Transportation Security Administration agents after the airport’s checkpoint scanner discovered something suspicious in his carry-on bag: a replica Freddy Krueger glove! TSA agents confiscated the glove and had a little fun with it over on Instagram.

Sharing a photo of the glove, the official TSA account issued the following statement:

“It’s safe to sleep on Elm Street again. Freddy lost his glove at the Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). He got burned after forgetting to take it off before going through the TSA checkpoint. If you find yourself needing to travel with your razor glove, please pack it in your checked bag. Travel #PSA: While worn out fedoras and tattered green and red sweaters are discouraged in the fashion world, they are permitted at TSA checkpoints.

They added, “This glove was actually discovered in a traveler’s carry-on bag at ATL. Freddy isn’t real. Or is he???”

Here’s hoping the fan eventually got his glove back!
