Matchbox Just (Unofficially) Released Chief Hopper’s Truck from “Stranger Things”!

There are already TONS of official “Stranger Things” collectibles out there, many of which have come courtesy of Funko and McFarlane Toys. If you haven’t yet checked your local Target, be sure to do so, as an entire section of “Stranger Things” toys and various other goodies can now be found in all Target stores.

Matchbox doesn’t officially have the license to “Stranger Things,” but that didn’t stop them from making a fun homage to the Netflix series in their new “Best of 2017” line.

Now available, the ’89 Chevy Blazer 4×4 is an exact replica of Hopper’s Hawkins Police Department truck, making it the perfect addition to your “Stranger Things” collection.

The only difference? The text “Hawkins Police Dept.” was replaced with “Matchbox Police Dept.” After all, fine details would turn this from homage to copyright infringement!

In partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, Monster High is reimagining the iconic creature who lies in the mysterious depths of the Amazon just in time for the 70th anniversary of the classic film. The prehistoric amphibious humanoid dazzles in Monster High fashion with glimmering green gills, shimmering scales, and killer harpoon heels.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon Monster High doll features…

  • 10.5 inches tall with 11 points of articulation
  • New face sculpt (made specifically for this doll) on original scaly body with fin and gill details
  • Wears a scaly swimsuit with pearlescent amphibious body armor
  • Accessorized with anchor-accented fin headpiece and webbed harpoon heel boots
  • Includes custom lagoon-inspired doll stand and premium packaging

On sale to the public beginning April 26, the limited edition doll will be selling for $65. These Monster High “Skullector” dolls never last long, so be sure to act fast this coming Friday!
