[Video] Mike Mendez Shows Off His Horror Toy Collection in New YouTube Series “Collection Complete”

Mike Mendez is one of us, a massive horror fan and toy collector with a killer collection that surely rivals your own. Of course, Mendez is also an accomplished filmmaker, having directed The Convent, The Gravedancers, Big Ass Spider!, the “Friday the 31st” segment from Tales of Halloween and most recently, the Dolph Lundgren-starring Don’t Kill It.

In the latest episode of Gemr’s series “Collection Complete, which shows off the collections of filmmakers, Mendez is spotlighted for a quick overview of his MASSIVE horror toy collection. So massive, in fact, that several episodes of the series are dedicated to Mendez’s collection, with this week’s episode being merely the first of four more to come.

This is one of five episodes, I believe, on my toy collection,” Mendez says. “I’ve never opened my doors and shown this side of myself publicly, so get ready to get your geek on, cause I’m going to talk nerdy to you.”

New episodes premiere every Tuesday at 8 PM EST/ 5 PM PST.

Writer in the horror community since 2008. Editor in Chief of Bloody Disgusting. Owns Eli Roth's prop corpse from Piranha 3D. Has four awesome cats. Still plays with toys.
