Stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny will, of course, be back for the upcoming eleventh season of “The X-Files”, but who else will be returning along with them?

Annabeth Gish announced she will be returning alongside Mitch Pileggi (Shocker, Polaroid), who was recently announced to return as FBI assistant director Walter Skinner. Gish played Monica Reyes, while Pileggi played Skinner in the original series. Both reprised the role for the 2016 revival.

Season 11 will feature 10 brand new episodes.

On the writing staff, Chris Carter once again reunites with former producers Glen Morgan, Darin Morgan and James Wong. The quartet will be joined by relative newcomers Gabe Rotter (a writers assistant on Season 9), Benjamin Van Allen (a writers assistant on Season 10) and Brad Follmer (Carter’s personal assistant during Season 8 and 9).

Production on Season 11 begins later this summer ahead of an early 2018 launch.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
