Here’s How Norman Reedus Would Write Daryl Dixon’s Death Scene

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from seven seasons of “The Walking Dead, it’s that characters we love are eventually going to die. The only characters that seem bulletproof right now are Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon… but I suppose anything can happen.

What I’m trying to say is, Daryl totally *could* die. And Norman Reedus has an idea for an oddly beautiful way for the beloved character to depart the show.

Reedus laid out his perfect death scene to CNET this week…

I think you’d see a sunset. I would walk up over a hill and then a little wolf puppy would come out of the woods and follow me up,” he told the site. “And people would just go, ‘Whatever happened to that guy?’

“The Walking Dead” has become known for dispatching characters in brutal ways, so killing off Daryl in this way would certainly be different!

Of course, fans would still riot.

Season 8 premieres October 22 with the series’ 100th episode.

    I don’t get it. 🙂

I honestly think he would be just getting over whelmed by a horde, give them that Darryl look and take it like a champ.

Yeah considering the fact that he’s not a character from the comics and is still around since season one. It’s weird that he is still kicking. If this show really wants to reinvent itself they should have him die unexpectedly. It might actually help their so-called rating issues.

Don’t see how this show has rating issues. Despite the dips, it still draws in more watchers than any other show by a long shot.

Notice I said SO-CALLED RATING ISSUES, meaning all the reports that this show ALLEGEDLY suffers from. To be even more clear I was being sarcastic!

No thats dumb. Go out taking on a horde or taking out bunch of Saviors. Massive explosion would be cool.

Not a fan of this idea. Daryl needs to go out in epic fashion or a heart-breaker. Either get swarmed and ripped apart by a large horde, saving the group OR have an unfortunate event occur (like hanging from a high place and someone coming to rescue him but failing to reach him in time).

After reading this, I am truly glad Reedus doesn’t write for THE WALKING DEAD.

Just spitballin here, but his head may go on a pike.
