[Video] Preview Episode 3 of “American Horror Story: Cult”

Sarah Paulson’s Ally Mayfair-Richards is fast losing her grip on reality in the wake of Donald Trump’s election win in “American Horror Story: Cult, and as we saw last night, she’s now being preyed upon by Evan Peters’ sinister cult leader, Kai.

Oh and something really strange is going on inside the house across the street from the Mayfair-Richards’, which we assume we’ll be learning more about next week.

Check out the Episode 3 sneak peek, titled “Neighbors from Hell,” below.

The cast also includes Billy Eichner as Harrison Wilton; Alison Pill as Ivy Mayfair-Richards; Billie Lourd as Winter Anderson; Cheyenne Jackson as Dr. Rudy Vincent; and Colton Haynes as Detective Samuels. Frances Conroy, Lena Dunham, Emma Roberts, Adina Porter, Mare Winningham and Leslie Grossman also star.

Episode 2 of Season 7 premieres Tuesday, September 19.

This season is pretty garbage so far…so…I hope this next episode picks it up a bit.

The dialogue has been pretty bad (especially for a Murphy show) and the sequential action is really starting to feel a lot more like Scream Queens than AHS…

i just finished watching (play fast forwarding mostly) the 2nd ep of this new season and i too thought it sort of felt more like SCREAM QUEENS rather than AHS. the only things i like about this season thus far are the clown/creature(?) mask designs and the Ivy character.

I must admit, the Scut Farkus murder this week was great!

  • MaryMaria

I haven’t seen any of this season just yet, but whaaaa? That weird… monster? Haha, oh boy. American Horror Story, you’re my guilty pleasure. Please don’t be trashier than usual.

    • Jack Derwent

In the show it’s just a cult member dressing up.

    • J Jett

Mary, IMO these first 2 eps of this current season have been very UN-American Horror Story-ish (not in a good way). it’s basically just been Sarah Paulson’s character freaking out/over-reacting/crying/screaming over politics and her phobia of clowns. i love Paulson but 2 eps in and i’m already tired of her characters soap-opera level melodrama. i’m actually tired of Evan Peters as well. his character is (as of only 2 eps i admit) one dimensional and cliche. i hope YOU like the season though. 🙂
the clown masks (as seen in the above pic) are actually fantastic.

      • MaryMaria

Hmmm, okay. I mean, Sarah Paulson Freaking Out is like, the free square on the AHS bingo card, so that’s not a huge surprise, but I hope it simmers down a little. And yeah, I was never too big into Evan Peters. I dunno, I thought he was good in Murder House, but hasn’t blown me away since. I’ll still give it a shot, of course, but I’ll keep my expectations low!

And yeah, that clown mask looks awesome, haha.

  • Enjoying it so far, but I’m sad that Paulson’s character will probably be around through the whole series, because DAMN is she annoying

    AHS: Paulson Freakout

It’s already getting to be one of the worst seasons just because we’re supposed to relate to somebody ideally, but instead its essentially a series of creepy seeming or shocking scenes with a vague plot couple with everyone acting unrealistically terrible. This most recent episode has the girl nobody believes finding as many ways to be alone with no witnesses and having breakdowns as a result- then nobody believes her and thats about it.

Clowns,Scares,Gore and Trump what more can any horror fan ask for?
Trump Made American Horror Story Great Again!
    God bless you Twisty! 🙂
