“The Punisher” Returns to Netflix This November; New Trailer!

Netflix allegedly delayed the launch of their new “The Punisher” series after the horrific Las Vegas shooting. Originally planned to release the weekend of the New York Comic-Con, the 13-episode series will now arrive on streaming service November 17th of this year.

Jon Berthal stars as Frank Castle in the series created for Netflix by Steve Lightfoot, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone.

Ben Barnes, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Amber Rose Revah, Deborah Ann Woll, Daniel Webber, Jason R. Moore, Paul Schulze, Jaime Ray Newman, and Michael Nathanson also star.

  • I’m glad they didn’t delay it for too long. Iron Fist aside, Netflix has been knocking it out of the park with these Marvel shows. Hell, even Iron Fist was serviceable. Looking forward to The Punisher.
