ABC Just Uploaded New Photos from “Roseanne” Halloween Episodes!

She will forever be the reigning Queen of Halloween.

Beginning with Season 2, “Roseanne” went big with its annual celebration of Halloween, a tradition that continued throughout the show’s entire run. From Season 2 straight through Season 9, a total of EIGHT Halloween episodes aired on ABC.

As I wrote in my in-depth look at the “Roseanne” Halloween episodes last year, they “remain a high watermark for television Halloween specials, paving the way for all subsequent shows to celebrate a holiday that was once completely absent from the small screen. There are few shows nowadays that don’t acknowledge Halloween in October, and Roseanne did it both first and, if you’re asking me, best. Particularly in the early seasons, the Conners’ celebrations showed that it was okay to get crazy, let loose, and have a whole lot of spooky fun on Halloween.”

With the revival season arriving in 2018, we’re hoping we get one more Halloween episode. In the meantime, you can watch all the originals through Amazon Streaming!

As a fun blast from Halloween past, the ABC press website just uploaded a bunch of images from two of the episodes, “BOO!” and “Halloween IV.” They’ve labeled the images as “NEW,” and indeed many of them seem to be more than simple screen grabs. Some look like on-set photographs, and all are higher-res than the streams on Amazon.

If nothing more, the images are a reminder to revisit these before Halloween passes!

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Brad Dourif

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.

Watch the trailer below to preview this week’s bloody new episode!
