Maggie Grace Joins the Fight in “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4

For next year’s fourth season, AMC’s “Fear the Walking Dead” is being injected with a handful of fresh faces, most notably “The Walking Dead” star Lennie James as fan favorite character Morgan Jones. The actor is jumping from the main series to the spinoff, and he’ll be joined by newcomers Garret Dillahunt and Jenna Elfman.

Additionally, Deadline reports today, “Lost” star Maggie Grace has signed on to become a series regular in Season 4. Character details will be announced at a later date.

Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo and Danay Garcia are all back for “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4, expected in mid-2018.

Season 4 marks the departure of original showrunner Dave Erickson, with Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg (“Once Upon a Time”) filling in, alongside Scott M. Gimple.

I kinda gave up on the show midway through last season. Now that Morgan will be on it I’m considering giving it another chance. Should I?

    • MODOK

Might as well. Considering it’s got a lot of new faces and a new showrunner, it might be greatly improved, or at least something different from what you’re used to.

You got farther than I did–I stopped watching after season 2. I got tired of Madison’s selfish stupidity and Travis’ moping, though I could watch an entire show built around Strand.

    yes for Maggie Grace

Maybe i’ll finish the third season now. I’ve stopped in the mid-season finale; that bulllshit about land and native people really turn me off.

    • oh_riginal

What do you got against Natives?

      • Nefferson Taveira

Nothing. It’s just boring as fuck. I want to see a zombie show, not some tribal fight about a piece of land.

        • oh_riginal

As a Native, I appreciated seeing Natives appear in a genre show like this. We don’t get nearly enough representation in genres like horror and sci-fi, and often when we do, we get portrayed as corny, with the writers leaning far toward stereotypes to bring us across. I can tell you, I don’t relate to that at all. But in Fear the Walking Dead, for the first time I felt like I was seeing Natives interacting in a horror setting without being romanticized and played up to non-Native expectations seen in usual Hollywood productions.

It was a breath of fresh air for me. To each his/her own I guess.

There’s something about her isn’t there.
I watched the first season but its not being shown on a station here so I have to stream it which is a faff. Maybe I’ll start up again too 🙂

          • Simon Allen

            Titter ….

    • Simon Allen

I really like her (I forgive her for The Fog ) .
And I’ve always quite enjoyed FTWD ….I really like Alycia Debnam -Carey .

      • J Jett

totally! Alycia is really the only character on FTWD that i like. i like her in general.

Walking Dead is the biggest pile of shit on television.

I’ve seen every episode until this past Sunday’s, it was god awful. Too many characters, too many guns, zero zombies, zero horror. I defy anyone to go back to season one and watch any episode and it will seem like a breath of fresh air.

These hacks think it will be on the air another 50 years! It won’t last 3 more I’d say.
