Syfy’s Annual New Year’s “Twilight Zone” Marathon Gets First Schedule Details

There’s never been a more brilliant, groundbreaking TV series than “The Twilight Zone,” which was WAY ahead of its time back in the 1950s. The original series ran for five seasons, from 1959 to 1964, and it’s still blowing minds all these decades later.

It’s been an annual tradition for many years now for Syfy to air a marathon of “The Twilight Zone” in celebration of New Year’s Eve/Day, and this year is no exception.

This year, the marathon kicks off at 4am on Sunday, December 31.

Check out Part 1 of the schedule below, via The Night Gallery!

Disney going to buy this too?

  • DukeStKing

No , ‘To Serve Man?’ I’d gladly trade ‘The Bewitchin’ Pool’ for that classic.

    • starchild1211992

There is nothing wrong with the bewitching pool it’s actually one of my favorite episodes. So no need to rip on it

      • DukeStKing

Hold on there, Baba Looey. I wasn’t ripping on it. I just prefer one over the other. I will, however, rip on your moniker. Starchild1221192? Was Starchild1221191 already taken?

        • starchild1211992

1211992 is taken(that would be mine)I don’t know what 1221191 or 1221192 means.Mine is a specific date,it’s a movie reference. Out of curiosity what is your favorite episode of Twilight Zone?

          • DukeStKing

Thanks for being able to take a joke. Now that you ask, ‘It’s a Good Life,’ would be it .

          • starchild1211992

What do you think about walking distance and a hundred yards over the rim?

          • DukeStKing

I like them both very much. But Walking Distance a bit more. Seems like you’re partial to time warp type episodes. The ones that deal with childhood. What say you?

          • starchild1211992

Both are near 100% flawless in terms of cast and execution, powerful yet subtle,a perfect example of how to do this kind of thing without being overdone or heavy handed. And in 30 minutes as well.
