Skeet Ulrich Hopes to Reunite With Neve Campbell in “Riverdale”!

On a related note, Scream just celebrated its 21st birthday two days ago!

We’re now midway through the second season of “Riverdale, which returns to The CW for its tenth episode on January 17. One character we haven’t yet been introduced to on the Archie Comics-based series is Jughead’s mother, the estranged wife of Skeet Ulrich‘s F.P. Jones. Who does Ulrich hope is eventually cast in the role, when she appears?

Speaking with TV Line, the actor revealed that he’s hoping for a Scream reunion!

I mean, God, I think Neve [Campbell] would be really interesting,” Ulrich told the site. “I know she’s busy doing some films and stuff like that, so I don’t know if that’s a possibility. But yeah, I think she’d be very intriguing.”

He added, “She’s very talented, and I think the reference to Scream would really tickle people.”

Campbell of course played Sidney Prescott in Scream, the girlfriend of Ulrich’s Billy Loomis. Needless to say, Campbell appearing alongside Ulrich on “Riverdale” would be pitch perfect for a show that’s so heavily inspired by teen horror films.

Here’s hoping!
