One of the biggest happenings in the world of “The Walking Dead” this past season was the announcement that Morgan, a character from the main series, will be crossing over into spinoff series “Fear the Walking Dead” for its fourth season. Actor Lennie James is the first to make the jump, which should make Season 4 a must-watch.
EW got their hands on the first two images of Morgan in “Fear the Walking Dead” today, along with some teases from the showrunners.
“As Morgan Jones steps into the world of FTWD, he’ll be continuing the journey he began on The Walking Dead way back in the pilot,” Andrew Chambliss told the site.
He added, “It’s been a great challenge to set for ourselves, and it’s what we hope to do with the character — to push Morgan to places he could only get by coming into contact with the characters on Fear. They’ll change him. And, at the same time, he’ll change them.”
Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Colman Domingo and Danay Garcia are all back for “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 4, expected in mid-2018.
Garret Dillahunt, Jenna Elfman, Maggie Grace and Kevin Zegers arrive in Season 4.
Season 4 marks the departure of original showrunner Dave Erickson, with Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg (“Once Upon a Time”) filling in, alongside Scott M. Gimple.
