Freeform Announces That This Year’s “13 Nights of Halloween” Will Be “31 Nights of Halloween”!

The success of Family Channel’s 25 Days of Christmas programming block led to the creation of 13 Nights of Halloween in 1998, an annual tradition that has lived on despite the channel’s numerous branding changes in the past twenty years. Family Channel is of course now known as Freeform, and “13 Nights” this year becomes “31 Nights”!

Over on the official Twitter account for the October programming block (@13Nights), it was just announced that Freeform will this year celebrate “31 Nights of Halloween”!

Freeform is already teasing a brand new special for this year titled “Decorating Disney: Halloween,” which will take you behind the scenes as the Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts transform into the scariest (yet still magical) places on Earth.

“31 Nights of Halloween” will begin on October 1.
