“The Witcher”: Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer of Vengerberg Spotlighted in Two More Images from Season 2

Along with this week’s images of Henry Cavill‘s Geralt of Rivia and Freya Allan‘s Ciri from the upcoming second season of “The Witcher,” Netflix has today presented us with two first-look images of the return of Anya Chalotra‘s Yennefer of Vengerberg.

We see the return of the mage in the two images you’ll find above and below, shackled following the Battle of Sodden Hill. How does this bode for her destiny?

Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, “The Witcher” is an epic tale of fate and family. The story of the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified.

Season 2 Logline: Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.

The new season is currently in production in the UK.

“Chucky” – Official Trailer for This Week’s New Episode Brings Brad Dourif into the White House!

Just two episodes remain in Season 3 of “Chucky,” with the second-to-last episode airing this Wednesday night on USA & SYFY. It’s titled “There Will Be Blood,” and oh yes there will be.

Last week’s episode was absolutely INSANE, with Chucky taking control of the situation room in the White House and attempting to start World War 3. His plan was thwarted, but not before nuking the North Pole. In the wake of launching that missile, Chucky met the true death, his doll body disintegrating into ash like he got Thanos snapped out of existence.

The episode ended with an appearance from Brad Dourif as Charles Lee Ray in his human form, with his spirit now free from the doll and roaming around the haunted White House.

Here’s the official plot synopsis for this week’s episode: “Parapsychologists investigate the disturbances in the White House, while Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) plans her escape.”

“There Will Be Blood” airs Wednesday, April 24 on USA and SYFY. Reversing a new plan they tested out last week, we’re told the episode will be available on Peacock this Thursday.
