I recently sat down with an extremely twisted indie horror game called Fingerbones. This isn’t the kind of game that wants to wow you with its visuals. Instead, it aims to disturb with its story, told through notes that are scattered about its environment. It’s one of the more unsettling games I’ve played in a while because it isn’t afraid to tackle a mature, even taboo subject — remember when Silent Hill was known for that?
It’s simple, but by stripping away the flair and fluff, this developer has managed to craft a game that I’m sure will stick with me for some time.
