‘Phobia’ Is A Prime Example Of Slow Build Horror

The indie horror game Phobia 1.5 blends Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Resident Evil, and the result is a total creepfest that will leave you with sweaty hands as you anxiously wait for the Big Bad to finally reveal itself. When it finally does, you won’t be ready for it. Or, at least I wasn’t. This game is terrifying, a strong early contender for scariest indie game of 2014.

Stunlock Gives a Glimpse of New Content for ‘V Rising’ With Ruins of Mortium Gameplay Trailer [Watch]

The full release of V Rising is coming up quick. And just in case the upcoming Castlevania crossover wasn’t enough, Stunlock has released a new gameplay trailer showing off the new Ruins of Mortium endgame zone for V Rising.

Once the heart of the powerful Vampire civilization, the Ruins of Mortium now lies in ruins, teeming with the cult-like remnants of Dracula’s forces. Players will encounter the Draculin, creatures tainted by Dracula’s influence, and face off against his Vampire Generals. The ultimate challenge awaits as players journey into the depths of Mortium to confront Dracula himself. While battling through his forces and disrupting dark rituals intent on reviving the ancient Vampire king, players will uncover ancient powers and prepare for the ultimate showdown against the tyrant himself.

Ruins of Mortium is just one piece of the new content for V Rising when it launches in full. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:
