[TV] “The Killing” Returns This August!

The best show you’ve never seen gets a final season, thanks to Netflix.

Before there was RoboCop, Joel Kinnaman was blowing my mind as Detective Stephen Holder on AMC’s serial killer drama “The Killing,” which was prematurely cancelled.

He will return for a final season, along with his partner, Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos), exclusively on Netflix Instant August 1!

Now is the perfect time to catch up on the first three seasons, streaming on Netflix Instant. I promise that you’re going to loveee it.

In the slow-burn series, “A police investigation, the saga of a grieving family, and a Seattle mayoral campaign all interlock after the body of 17-year-old Rosie Larsen is found in the trunk of a submerged car.

Great show! Great acting! A slow pace, that take time to tell you a story and develop character .

    • It’s really cool how they don’t end each season’s arc and that it keeps building.

  • Blood-Sicles

I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons of this show- but the main narrative wrapped up at the end of 2 I don’t really see the point in continuing.

Blood-Sicles, even though i’m so happy about this upcoming season of the show, i agree w/ you that, considering season 4 is an entirely new case and i assume will have nothing to do with season 3’s ending aftermath (and the fact season 4 is only 6 eps), it does seem odd/pointless.

again, i’m thrilled to have this upcoming season. 🙂

SO FREAKING EXCITED!! i love this show (all 3 seasons!). i wish we were getting more than just 6 eps but i’ll take what i can get with this awesome show! so happy to have Linden & Holder back!!

for me first 2 seasons were weak attempts on remaking really good show. I was really glad that it was cancelled in the end

  • Drew Douglas

Yeah – the first two seasons were awful. Holder deserves a better show.

  • ThunderDragoon

I loved the first two seasons, but I just could not get into the third. I don’t know why.
