Proof That ‘Wolf Creek 2′ Is Incredible (Clip)

Wolf Creek 2
This troop should watch where they bounce.

If you haven’t seen Image Entertainment’s insanely awesome Wolf Creek 2 yet, it is on VOD platforms everywhere (it will also be in limited theaters May 16). As teased in my positive review, check out this insanely fun new clip that proves just how awesome this sequel truly is. I guarantee you’re going to have a blast!!

Directed again by Greg McLean, “Lured by the promise of an Australian holiday, backpackers Rutger, Katarina, and Paul visit the notorious Wolf Creek Crater. Their dream Outback adventure soon becomes a horrific reality when they encounter the site’s most infamous local, the last man any traveler to the region ever wants to meet; Mick Taylor.

As the backpackers flee, Mick pursues them on an epic white knuckled rampage across hostile wasteland. Only one will remain to be dragged back to his lair to witness the true magnitude of his monstrosity. And if the last man standing is to have any hope of surviving where no one else has survived before, he’ll have to use every ounce of cunning to outwit the man behind the monster and become every bit as ruthless as the monster inside the man.

I don’t like that clip at all. Not cool. I will not be watching this movie.

    • EvanDickson

You realize those Kangaroos are fake, right?

      • Alex Manresa

Yup. I know they are fake. Still doesn’t mean I have to enjoy watching them get killed.

        • EvanDickson

Fair enough. I get where you’re coming from.

Animal deaths in films ruin it for me, its all I can think about afterwards. No need mate, that fuckin seed film that uwe boll did, 5 minutes in I thought fuck that and threw it in the bin. Im gonna totally contradict myself now though because I really want to watch this film cause I loved the first one, (at least I know when the unnecessary kangaroo splatter is gonna be, then I’ll go for a piss).

No, we’re all as retarded as the people who write for this website.

Well if you saw the first movie, you should still see this movie. I will agree that I was not thrilled to see this scene as well but I will say that at least they had a reason to do it. As soon as the closed captions (rented from amazon) said the volume of the radio/song was increased, I realized Mickey was trying to draw those kangaroos to the road in order to stop/crash the yellow jeep driver.

Big fan of the 2005 original..A dark and brutal film..
I really enjoyed this new film
    however…
I was stunned at the Fast & The Furious style car chase scene that seem to go on forever…As much as I hate car chases and too me it cheapened the overall product i still thought McLean did a good job with this and would love to see a prequel like a Mick Taylor origins…

Great setup, hilarious payoff. Can’t wait to watch this one. Pretty much exactly the way the giraffe scene in Hangover 3 should have played out.

Not sure why that clip is appealing at all. As usual, Mr. Disgusting’s journalism is Pulitzer prize worthy.

Part 2 was entertaining, but just didn’t have the same effect on me as the first one, it was almost a totally different movie, reminded more of one of the Joyride movies than it did of the first Wolf Creek

  • Daniel Paro

I didn’t like this sequel at all. Way too different from the first one (as said here, it looks more like a Joyride sequel…). We didn’t even had the chance to like the characters as we did on the first one.

  • dirtyghettok

I liked it. Good mixture of shock, horror and some brilliant dark humor.

  • WalkingDeadGuy

I liked the film. The opening death scene was my favorite. I still prefer the original over the sequel though; I remember is stuck with me for days after I watched it.

it’s stupid and annoying that movies like this and first film feel they MUST try to create the next Freddy Kruger/Jason/Michael villain that goes on and on and on..etc. this movie doesn’t end the way it should and because of that i’ll pass on this one.

  • markajacoby

Listen, I get it. Their CGI. But it is starting to bother me that so many shows/movies think that depicting violence to animals is somehow cool. Personally it kind of turns me off.

    • Alex Manresa

I completely agree with you Mark.

  • Taboo

    Excited for this!

  • scaryjim

Nah, it’s still rubbish. Massive step down from the original, dudes been turned into a crappy, unfunny Freddy. I thought the director would go on to way better things, the cinematography in WC1 is almost Picnic at Hanging Rock like.

  • Gregory Nembhard

    Gotta check that out!!

I really liked number 2 but it has not the same genius the first one had. What I liked about Wolf Creek was that it was not over the top bloody… I get that a sequel has to deliver the bigger-louder kinda vibe, yet I feel like the first 10 minutes of this movies were a little bit out of the context and just meant to prepare us for gory action.
Still, I now wish for a third movie.

  • zio masala

wow not diggin this scene fake or real…..i barely made it through part 1

The last clip features Mick up to some new games, as has a British backpacker held hostage and offers him a chance to play a quiz.
