Rob Zombie Covers “Enter Sandman”

Just a few nights ago, while playing at the House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach, shock rocker/director Rob Zombie covered the classic Metallica track “Enter Sandman” to a thoroughly enthusiastic crowd. You can watch a crowd-shot video of the performance below.

In an interview with The Pulse Of Radio, Zombie also said that his sixth studio album was in the works and that…

we’re really excited because we really felt that for ourselves as a band, the last record really kind of got back to something that I was looking for, and we were just excited to take it to the next level. When you’re feeling inspired, you kind of want to go for it, because sometimes you don’t feel inspired.

The new album will be the followup to last year’s Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor.

I was part of that enthusiastic crowd. It was such an awesome show. John 5 picked Enter Sandman to play, and when Rob acted like he wasn’t going to play it we all went batshit. South (and North) Carolina love us some Metallica, so I think he got that message pretty loud and clear
