We don’t post much about country artists in the music section of BD – though I’m sure there are some amazing horror-influenced country artists out there – primarily because I just really don’t listen to a lot of it. But one artist that we all know is the man in black himself, Johnny Cash. Cash’s “The Man Comes Around” was used in 2004’s Dawn Of The Dead and his track “Ring Of Fire” appeared briefly in 2006’s Silent Hill, so his work has definitely had an impact on our genre.
Recently, an album of unreleased material by the name of Out Among The Stars was put out, utilizing songs that were recorded in the early 80’s that, for one reason or another, never saw the light of day. To get a taste of the album, you can head below for a lyric video for the title track.
You can pick up Out Among The Stars through Amazon.
