Roadshow and Warner Bros. Pictures shared one final TV Spot/trailer for Edge of Tomorrow, their adaptation of the Japanese novel “All You Need is Kill” by Hiroshi Sakurazaka. The pic, in theaters June 6, unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the Earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world. Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt star.
Also discovered today is an international trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, in theaters July 11, which boasts some new footage. Matt Reeves directs with Andy Serkis, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Judy Greer and Jocko Sims starring. In the sequel to the prequel, “A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.”
