Academy Originals has shared their latest episode of “Moments That Changed The Movies,” this time focusing on Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park.
The video takes a look back at the 1993 classic, the groundbreaking decision to create digital dinosaurs, and the impact it had on the future of movies. What it doesn’t speak to is that Spielberg has talked about doing the dinos in stop-motion or as inflatables (an example would be the “King Kong” rides at Universal Studios). You can learn even more about that on the film’s home video extra features; it’s really cool stuff.
