HE’S Back! ‘The Pact II’ Trailer Drags You Back In…

The Pact II 2

We just revealed that The Pact II will be released via IFC Midnight on VOD September 5 with a limited theatrical run set for October 10, and now, we have the film’s official trailer.

From what I can tell, the supernatural being from the first film is back tormenting once again. Why they can’t just leave the house is beyond me? Thankfully, they play detective and find all sorts of crazy shit.

The pic is, “a truly terrifying new film set just weeks after Annie Barlow’s deadly confrontation with the Judas Killer. In this elevated sequel, we meet June, a woman whose carefully constructed life is beginning to unravel due to lucid nightmares so awful they disturb her waking life.

Camilla Luddington (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Patrick Fischler (“Californication”) and Scott Michael Foster all star in the sequel to the Nicholas McCarthy written and directed 2012 movie. The film was directed by Dallas Hallam and Patrick Horvath.

this looks VERY promising! i stopped watching this trailer about half way through though because this is the type of movie (like THE CONJURING, INSIDIOUS, etc) where they may (and often DO) give away good “GOTCHA!!” moments and other spoilers.

this PACT sequel looks good and i’m glad to see Caity Lotz back from the first film!

I love Caity Lotz in the first one and in Arrow so I will definitely be watching this

anthonyd1, check Caity out in the movie THE MACHINE. she’s excellent in that too! she’s fast becoming one of my top favorite actresses.

Thanks, I will definitely be checking that out

Why does this look bad? ._.

i just re-watched the first movie again tonight and it had me turning on all my lights and checking under the bed/in my closets!! LOL. this movie is one of the very few horror films that i actually find scary (the others being THE CHANGELING, THE EXORCIST III, and most of THE ENTITY).

  • The first one was a pleasant surprise. The final act was really creepy and somehow unique instead of a revenge ghost story. However, curious how the storyline will progress with this!
