How ‘At the Devil’s Door’ Breaks the Devilish Rules (Exclusive)

We were going to make a movie about the Devil, but we weren’t going to play by the rules.

Now on digital and VOD is The Pact director Nicholas McCarthy’s newest supernatural horror, At the Devil’s Door (read our review), which we’ve landed the following make-of featurette for. In it, the cast and drew talk about the Devil, and how they pushed to make something different.

It will also receive a theatrical release on September 12.

In the supernatural horror starring Naya Rivera, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Ashley Rickards, Wyatt Russell and Ava Acres, “when ambitious young real estate agent Leigh is asked to sell a house with a checkered past, she crosses paths with a disturbed girl whom she learns is the runaway daughter of the couple selling the property. When Leigh tries to intervene and help her, she becomes entangled with a supernatural force that soon pulls Leigh’s artist sister Vera into its web — and has sinister plans for both of them.

let me guess… how it “Breaks the Devilish Rules”?
Hmm, probably they will make devil look like a good character… very “innovative”.
As said in the Bible “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil…” (so the idea is not new at all 🙂
Hopefully my guess will not be accurate.

Just ok. Was hoping this was going to rock, but it did not for me. As fad as being “inventive”, didn’t see witness the inventiveness. Just another attempt at a Devil Inside movie.
