Here’s Real Footage of a Modern Exorcism!

Published

on

We talk about exorcisms all the time, but considering it’s a personal experience between the “victim” and family members (I put victim in quotes because, who’s abusing the possessed, the Church or a demon?), it’s rare to see one caught on video.

Express out of the UK has confirmed a YouTube video sharing secretly-filmed footage showing a woman shrieking and bawling during church exorcism.

Amid the screams and cries of the woman, vulgar words shouted in Czech are heard echoing through the place of worship, explains the site.

Daniel Trochta, 26, sneaked up to the front of the The Assumption of the Virgin Mary church – in the southern town of Vranov nad Dyji, Czech Republic – having heard the chilling shouts.

He originally posted the footage on YouTube in February, but only this week has the church confirmed it is genuine.

The video is titled ‘Exorcism in Vranov nad Dyji’ with Mr Trochta warning viewers to “watch with headphones”.

The church’s priest Marek Dunda, who carries a mandate from his bishop to perform exorcisms, confirmed the footage is genuine but declined to comment further.

He said: “If something is filmed through a keyhole, there is nothing more to say about it.”

Refusing to divulge details of the ceremony, he would only add: “We were asking God to protect and to liberate the person. We used a Latin prayer asking for a help.

“Of course it helps.”

The identity of the woman in the video remains unknown, adds the site, with the church saying details of her condition were private.

Even if we don’t believe, some are so invested in religion that, even if this is all mumbo jumbo, it theoretically could help them. Thoughts?
