British based Gothic horror The Limehouse Golem has emerged from the faux London fog filming in the North of England. Select shots have been filed to social media through cast along with Mancunian paparazzi glimpsing stars in period costume making their way to set.
The murder mystery is directed by Juan Carlos Medina (Painless aka Insensibles) & adapted for the screen by Jane Goldman (Kingsman: The Secret Service, The Woman in Black and X-Men: First Class) from Peter Ackyroyd’s novel Dan Leno and the Limehouse Golem.
Stepping out of the gloomy Victorian alleys will be Alan Rickman (Harry Potter, Die Hard), Olivia Cooke (Ouija, The Quiet Ones), Douglas Booth (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, Noah) and Bill Nighy (Shaun of the Dead, Underworld).

London, 1880. In the dangerous Limehouse district, a series of murders have shaken the community.
So monstrous and ruthless are these crimes the press claim they’re the work of The Golem – a creature from folklore. The Golem strikes again. With no genuine leads, the police put the vastly experienced Detective Inspector Kildare on the case, a scapegoat for when the next victim surfaces.
