Evil Dead Posters from Bottleneck Gallery

Bottleneck Gallery will release two Evil Dead posters today, March 29, at 9am PST/12pm EST. Set an alarm if you’re hoping to snag one, because they’re going to move faster than a Deadite.

Adam “Readful Things” Perocchi’s The Evil Dead artwork is inspired by the classic RoboCop poster. 24×36 giclee prints, limited to 125, will cost $60. Evil Dead 2 by Jack Gregory is a 24×36 screen print, limited to 75, for $70.


Bad Lieutenant 4K UHD from Kino Lorber

Bad Lieutenant shoots onto 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray on May 21 via Kino Lorber. The 1992 neo-noir crime film has been newly restored in 4K from the original camera negative with Dolby Vision/HDR.

Abel Ferrara (King of New York, Body Snatchers) directs from a script he co-wrote with Ms. 45 actress Zoë Lund. Harvey Keitel stars with Victor Argo, Paul Calderón, and Lund.

Special features include: commentary by Ferrera and cinematographer Ken Kelsch; a new interview with Kelsch; a new tour of the filming locations; a 2009 retrospective featurette; and the theatrical trailer.

Slimer Wall Decor from Trick or Treat Studios

In conjunction with the release of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Trick or Treat Studios has launched pre-orders for a Ghostbusters collection. It includes masks, signs, enamel pins, and more, but the highlight is the Slimer Wallbreaker.

This ugly little spud measures 29” tall, 17.5” wide, and 12” deep. The three-piece set features remote-activated interior lights for a ghostly glow. Priced at $375, shipping is estimated to begin in mid-September.


Batman Steelbook 4K UHD from Warner Bros.

Batman will celebrate its 35th anniversary with a Steelbook 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray release on May 28 via Warner Bros. Remastered in 4K with HDR, this edition of the 1989 film was previously only available in a Best Buy exclusive box set from 2019.

Tim Burton directs from a script by Sam Hamm and Warren Skaaren (Beetlejuice), based on the DC Comics superhero created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger. Jack Nicholson, Michael Keaton, and Kim Basinger star with Robert Wuhl, Pat Hingle, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Gough, and Jack Palance.

Special features include: commentary by director Tim Burton; On the Set with Bob Kane; Legends of the Dark Knight: The History of Batman; Shadows of the Bat: The Cinematic Saga of the Dark Knight; Batman: The Heroes; Batman: The Villains; Beyond Batman; Robin storyboard sequence; and more.
