[Trailer] Italian Zombie Film ‘The End?’ Locks You Inside an Elevator

Screening at the forthcoming FrightFest in London later this month, Daniele Misischia’s The End? has an interesting premise: a man is trapped inside of an elevator. Outside, hungry infected zombies are waiting for their next meal.

Ahead of the premiere, the trailer for The End? has arrived, and this one looks as intense as Spanish horror gem [REC]. Check it out below, along with some images.

In the film…

“Claudio Verona is a young and cynical businessman. One day he gets locked in his Roman office elevator before an important meeting with a client. Soon this annoying obstacle will turn into a nightmare. For outside that metal cage, a deadly virus has begun to infect and transform people into extremely violent and dangerous zombies. Claudio has to get out of his claustrophobic space but it seems the elevator is the safest place to be in the city!”

The cast includes Alessandro Roja, Euridice Axen, Claudio Camilli, Benedetta Cimatti, and Bianca Friscelli.

I know I’ll most likely check this out, but I wonder how much fending off zombies from inside an elevator you can do for a whole film.

    • Dennis Chenier

Hopefully he does eventually escape the elevator half way through and it can build from there.

      • Darren Kerr

That would surely be the only way

    • Richard Cosgrove

If done well it could be awesome. Buried managed to be incredible while set entirely within the confines a of coffin.

      • Darren Kerr

True…and that was as tense as hell

  • Necro

Where are the Lucio Fulci, Umberto Lenzi, and Mario Bava’s etc. of today? I ask because I see ITALIAN & ZOMBIE in the headline, my mind went right to that era.

    • blackie_chan

as long as you don’t mention Bruno Mattai aka Vincent Dawn

  • Matt

Could be interesting, I would definitely watch this.

  • J Jett

    this looks pretty damn good!

  • Alanmac

    Looks fun!!

  • Saturn

So they watched Demons 2 and decided to expand the elevator scene into an entire movie?
It’s Italian horror – I’ll watch it with an open mind – hopefully it’s the beginnings of a Spaghetti Splatter revival.

    • Necro

Fuckin right Saturn! When I read the headline that’s one of two things that immediately came to mind.
