Another New ‘IT’ TV Spot Appears to Show the Leper

We’ve now seen several trailers and TV spots for Andy Muschietti’s IT, but I still feel like we really haven’t seen much of the movie at all. In fact, most of the promo videos recycle the same footage we’ve already seen, with a couple new additions here and there.

Such is the case with this latest one, which seems to show Javier Botet as the Leper at the 20-second mark. It’s not the best quality, but we thought you’d like to see it.

In the new adaptation…

A group of young kids face their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

The kids in peril, the Losers’ Club, include Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor. Javier Botet will play The Leper, and Nicholas Hamilton plays Henry Bowers. The cast also includes Owen Teague, who plays bully Patrick Hocksetter. Bill Skarsgard is our new Pennywise.

The film will be in theaters September 8, 2017.

Looks so promising. Better cool my enthusiasm before it turns out to be a mediocre turd…

The last trailer was enough for me. I want to go into this movie not knowing too much.
