[Video] New Game Mode “Paranoia” Coming to ‘Friday the 13th: The Game’!

Who is five?

This week has already been a big one for fans of Friday the 13th: The Game, as a whole slew of content including Part 3’s Fox, new environmental kills and the “Tommy Jarvis Tapes” (written by Adam Green!) were added to the game. Tonight brings with it a new tease for something else that’s coming soon…

Recently, Gun Media and Illfonic began sharing around graphics featuring a single blue dot, which left us all guessing. Today they’ve announced what the blue dot was teasing: PARANOIA, a new upcoming game mode for Friday the 13th: the Game that will be available for no additional cost.

Only, we still have no idea what exactly Paranoia is.

The iconic Suspiria theme accompanies a teaser video for Paranoia tonight, which seems to hint at a mode inspired by Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning. My guess? The mode will disguise one player as “Jason Voorhees,” and the other players will have no idea which player is hiding underneath the hockey mask, ala Roy Burns in Part V.

Check out the teaser below. No date has been confirmed for Paranoia.

Friday the 13th: The Game is currently 50% off on Steam, for a price of $19.99.
