‘House of Salem’ Gives Homage to ‘You’re Next’ and ‘Don’t Breathe’ [Exclusive Trailer]

The Devil has a new playground.

It’s Don’t Breathe meets You’re Next in writer-director James Crow’s “brooding and compelling horror with a crime thriller twist” House of Salem, arriving on VOD January 23, 2018, from Wild Eye Releasing.

In the film, “A group of kidnappers become a child’s unlikely protectors after discovering they have unwittingly been set up to take part in a satanic ritual. As they begin to uncover the truth of the house they find themselves trapped, they must battle demonic forces and uncover a legacy of over a hundred years of murder in the name of the Devil.” Jessica Arterton, Jack Brett Anderson, and Liam Kelly star.

  • Creepshow

Nothing strikes fear into your heart, more than a zip-up onesie.

  • Kyle Cole

Doesn’t look to appealing. Might watch it though

  • ‘Gives homage’. No, they steal.

  • Cuesta Verde

The awful generic artwork looks like another straight to Netflix POS movie. When I see these generic posters with matching generic fonts I automatically keep scrolling. It’s shocking to me that these posters continually get approved. I miss the days when actual artistry went into horror movie posters. No matter how crappy the movie, great artwork on the video shelves always drew me in.

    Sounds like a lazy Sunday.
