In reply to Full Frontal Squashing. IMO, he did. I loved his remake of The Hills Have Eyes, one of the few I prefer over the original. Piranhas was solid fun and I enjoyed Mirrors. I loved Horns.

In reply to Full Frontal Squashing. In my mind High Tension is Aja's masterpiece. I embrace the entire movie, including the ending that divides horror fans. But I think The Hills Have Eyes is very good, a much better remake than most.

I loved High Tension even though the ending was…well it could have been better of course. We know… The film itself is still good anyway.

In reply to Full Frontal Squashing. I think High Tension was very good... until the crappy ending which was not the original ending and was imposed by producer Luc Besson who wanted a twist at the end. He ruined the movie.
