Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Suspiria’ Now Streaming on Amazon Prime!
Six months after its theatrical release and four months after it was unleashed on home video, Luca Guadagnino’s Suspiria is now up for instant streaming through Amazon Prime!
In her review for BD, Meagan wrote: “the haunting atmosphere and the teasing mysteries of the Satanic depths of this coven casts a hypnotic spell that keeps you engrossed throughout.” She added, “Suspiria succeeds as an artistic experience, but from a narrative standpoint, it’s a bit of a mess. Beautiful as it is confusing, Guadagnino’s vision is guaranteed to be polarizing.”
Brad listed the film in the #2 slot in his Best Horror Movies of 2018 list, raving about the new take on Dario Argento’s classic: “I was enthralled and wishing it would never end.”
My own feelings on the polarizing film?
Truthfully, I spent a good deal of Suspiria 18 on verge of tuning out, but for what it’s worth, by the end my jaw was on the floor & I was crying. That movie is… something. Insane, oddly beautiful final act blew me away. Goes far beyond Argento’s to a whole new place entirely.
