‘The Conjuring 3’ Bumped All the Way Back to June 2021
Both rumored and fully expected, Warner Bros. has officially bumped The Conjuring 3: The Devil Made Me Do It out of its September 2020 slot, bumping the film all the way to 2021.
The third film in the core Conjuring series will hit theaters on June 4, 2021. Both The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2 were released in the warmer months as well, in June and July.
The Devil Made Me Do It is directed by The Curse of La Llorona‘s Michael Chaves.
“The Devil Made Me Do It reveals a chilling story of terror, murder and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. One of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.”
Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga both return to star as Ed and Lorraine Warren, with Ruairi O’Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Julian Hilliard starring alongside them.
