‘Predator’ Reboot In Serious Trouble
We’ve got a holy sh*t scoop for you that’s going to have half of you screaming in excitement and the other throwing tomatoes. A reliable source dropped us a line revealing to us that Robert Rodriquez and his Troublemaker Studios will be producing the Predator reboot for 20th Century Fox. Now here’ the kicker, the pitch being sent around town implies that the reboot will have more than one predator. “In the reboot a team of commandoes face down a mysterious race of vicious monsters.” No writer has been attached yet – and there is no script. No word on whether or not Rodriquez will direct, but it seems highly unlikely considering how many projects he has in development.
Spider One (Allegoria, Bury the Bride) is back in the director’s chair with Little Bites, a horror movie produced by mother-and-son duo Cher and Chaz Bono.
The horror film follows “Mindy (Krsy Fox), a young widow and mother, who desperately tries to protect her daughter Alice (Elizabeth Caro) from the grips of a fiendish, flesh-eating monster named Agyar (Jon Sklaroff). Mindy has been secretly sacrificing her own life by allowing the creature to slowly feast on her body as she keeps Alice hidden away at her grandmother’s (Aarons).”
In the following exclusive clip, Mindy (played by Fox, who also stars in Terrifier 3), brings the ghoul something not-so-good to eat.
Heather Langenkamp, Barbara Crampton, and Bonnie Aarons (The Nun) also star in Little Bites, releasing in theaters and on VOD/digital this Friday, October 4, from RLJE Films and Shudder.
