Holy Effin Sh*t Scoop of the Year: ‘Ghostbusters 3’
Wow, personally, I find this to be the most shocking, surprising and incredible scoop to hit the horrorverse in 2009 – and that’s saying a lot considering there are only a few weeks left in the decade (time, please slow down). Fans looking forward to Ghostbusters 3 might want to tread carefully as Sigourney Weaver just dropped a bomb in a recent interview for James Cameron’s Avatar about the role of Bill Murray. It’s seriously mind-blowing. Read on and then definitely chime in below, I’m dying to know what you think.
Before she drops the bomb, Weaver explains to Channel 4 News, “I’m afraid to say it [Ghostbusters 3] is happening, I hope people are excited about that. I don’t know if I’m going to be in it, I have had a couple of calls asking `would you read the script’.
“I know that my little son Oscar – who was kidnapped from me – I think he has grown up to be a ghostbuster.”
Now here’s where things get interesting. It’s one single sentence, and yet game changing:
“I might be in it; I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I don’t think I will have a big part. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it – he’s a ghost.”
Say what? I just did a triple look and pulled my neck doing so. What do you guys think about this turn of events?
