[Video Interview] Lou Taylor Pucci, Shiloh Fernandez And Jessica Lucas Bound By Blood In ‘Evil Dead’

The new Evil Dead hits theaters this Friday, April 5th (or 10 PM tonight), but you already know my thoughts on it. If you’re a horror fan, it’s something you don’t want to miss. It hits a few bumps in the beginning – but once it gets going the film just flies along and it’s a gory, glorious blast (my review here)! Last weekend I sat down with stars Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci and Jessica Lucas to talk about the physical rigors of the shoot – as well as Pucci’s innate fandom of the series. We also out one of the actors as having never seen the original film. Also, if you missed my chat with Jane Levy and Fede Alvarez, it’s right here.

In the film, “In the much anticipated remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends who become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead. An archaeologist’s tape recording reveals that the ancient text was discovered among the Khandarian ruins of a Sumerian civilization. Playing the taped incantations, the youths unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.” Jane Levy and Elizabeth Blackmore also star.

Head inside to check it out! Since there were four of us it was a very loose, rambling chat.
