In reply to ogtoddyt. You apparently missed the part where they talked about the police tactics to obtain the confession, the fact the confessor had an IQ of 72, or that the confession was at odds with the know facts of the case. People like you frighten me more than any horror movie.

I am sorry but i watched all the docs and I still think they had something to do with it. no one could coheres me in to saying I killed someone. kinda sick thinking about the so called stars who came calling to be there friends.

In reply to macguffin54. Totally agree with you macguffin. I have seen all of the documentaries and have had my fair share of opinions generated, but I can't wait to watch this movie as well.... even though I know the "truth", lol.

If the only real complaint is that the movie doesn’t cover new ground, 1-star seems harsh. Not everyone has seen those docs and I know I sometimes like to see a dramatic re-telling of a story after seeing a documentary. Also, I would say this story is but a prime example of the injustices that occur in this country everyday rather than the worst example of what happens. Number one, I have seen many documentaries with similar or worse injustices, in which the unfairly accused are executed, which would be a worse injustice. Number two, many of these “unfairly accused” stories never make the news, so the innocent are forced to endure punishment and no one is bothering to listen to their cause. I can’t tell you how many documentaries I have seen where people are accused without ANY evidence, just accusations. It is much worse an injustice to be innocent and never have your story heard, let alone to not be exonerated. In this world, it seems the worse the crime committed the more the public believes a suspect is guilty regardless of what evidence there may or may not be. And when the police or the public “know” a suspect is guilty but can’t quite put a case together they start to “create” a case. Not every cop does this but there are enough examples out there to really make you doubt a lot of these cases.
