Today, fans can get their hands on Bishara’s music for the highly anticipated The Conjuring 2, the James Wan-directed sequel to the 2013 smash hit.

“Lorraine and Ed Warren travel to north London to help a single mother raising four children alone in a house plagued by malicious spirits.”

The Conjuring 2 stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Madison Wolfe, Frances O’Connor, and Lauren Esposito.

You can purchase the album digitally via Amazon.

Now, you can grab Bishara’s score to Todd Lincoln’s V/H/S: Viral segment “Gorgeous Vortex”, which will appear on the V/H/S: Viral home video release (from what I’m told, this is a very special and unique surprise). It’s available in vinyl and digital formats, including FLAC and WAV, via Void Recordings. Personally, I recommend the vinyl as it’s beautifully packaged and sounds absolutely wonderful.

The score is a perfect example of what I was talking about above, the influences noticeable but still done in such a fascinating and incredibly eerie way. As I listened to it, I was suddenly overcome by this inescapable feeling that Bishara would be a brilliant if given the opportunity to helm the music of Silent Hills.

Below is a stream of the track “Legs”, which I envision as being the mournful dirge of those terrifying ghost women from Insidious. You know who I’m talking about, right? The ones that weren’t there one second and then suddenly were with their freaky ass smiles? Ugh…

The teaser shows horror rapper Tech N9ne as the librarian of a twisted, nightmarish library, one that is full of magic and sounds. However, N9ne isn’t exactly a fan of noises that he isn’t in control of. So let’s just say that things would’ve gone better had someone bitten their tongue. Check out the trailer below.

2013 will see a new roadshow by Saw II-IV, 11-11-11, Mother’s Day and The Barrens director Darren Lynn Bousman, who returns to direct another chapter in the battle between Heaven and Hell. Creator Terrance Zdunich (Repo! The Genetic Opera) also returns.

Big Air Studios will release Darren Lynn Bousman’s 11-11-11 on DVD this coming April 24th. Special features will include a making-of featurette, deleted scenes, and, of course, a commentary.

And we have a sample of that commentary for you today. Even if I didn’t love 11-11-11, I think Bousman’s a smart, engaging guy and I quite like the clip we’re previewing here. It’s a particularly interesting segment wherein he discusses the leaked international print that caused problems for the production while they were in post. I definitely recommend taking a look. And if you’re a fan of the film, even better.

In the film, “After the tragic death of his wife and child, famed American author Joseph Crone travels from the United States to Barcelona, Spain to reunite with his estranged brother Samuel and dying father, Richard. However, fate has a different plan for Joseph as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings, and the constant sightings of the number 11. Curiosity quickly turns to obsession, and Joseph soon realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning not only to himself but possibly to all of religion. Isolated in a foreign country with only the support of his companion, Sadie, Joseph soon realizes that 11/11/11 is more than just a date, it’s a WARNING!” Timothy Gibbs, Michael Landes, Wendy Glenn, Lluis Soler, Ángela Rosal, Brendan Price, Salomé Jimenez, Benjamin Cook and Montse Alcoverro all star.

Bousman directed Saw II-IV, Repo!,Mother’s Day, and is currently in post on The Barrens.

Hitting theatres today is Darren Lynn Bousman’s 11-11-11, a religious horror film centered around today’s date and divination by numbers. Lucky for Bousman, he got the film out today – which I think is pretty neat, even if it’s only in limited release – but, according to our own Evan Dickson, “In a movie with problems this big, normally huge things like dialogue and performance seem like nitpicking. It all comes down to story. If every scene has the same static objective and if 90% of your scenes end with your characters in the same emotional and narrative place with which they began – you don’t have much of a movie.”

Yikes.

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t sort of intrigued by the premise (I’m always up for religious horror, if only to see if the film at hand is one of the few that ACTUALLY WORK), but maybe I shouldn’t be so bummed it didn’t make its way down to Orlando.

You can check out Evan’s review here and if you’re in one of the select cities it’s playing in, don’t forget to tell all of B-D what you thought.

I’m a huge fan of religious horror (Exorcist, Omen, Ninth Gate) which is why I’m crazy excited for Rocket Releasing and Big Air Studios’ 11-11-11, Darren Lynn Bousman’s take at a Biblical apocalypse that opens on November 11. While most of the cool stuff has been kept in secret, the Gates of Hell have finally been opened as we’ve landed a handful of demonic imagery (and behind-the-scenes pics) that can be enjoyed after the break.

The location, found 40 minutes outside of Barcelona, had previously been rented out for “sex parties” a la Eyes Wide Shut. Bousman passed on it the first time, getting an eerie feeling from the place, but returned a second time only to find secret rooms and more occult symbolism throughout the house. But, the most chilling thing about this visit was that he finally learned the house’s history, which deals with a Spanish Marquis, his brother, and a missing daughter whose death was chalked up to occult sacrifice.

Earlier this year we shared with you an eerie promo trailer out of the EFM in Berlin, now Bloody Disgusting has your exclusive peak at the latest teaser that’s downright bizarre and unnerving. Dig on it inside and tell us what you think!

Starring Timothy Gibbs, Michael Landes, Wendy Glenn, Lluis Soler, Ángela Rosal, Brendan Price, Salomé Jimenez, Benjamin Cook, and Montse Alcoverro, on 11-11-11 a gateway will open and something from another world will pass into ours.

We’re not going to bore you with details on the sales to territories like Turkey and Israel, but word from the EFM in Berlin is that Epic Pictures is close to locking a distribution deal for Darren Lynn Bousman’s 11-11-11 here in the States. The religious thriller was promised to be released November 11, 2011, so we’ll see if they can’t deliver on those ambitions. Anyways, the main reason we’re even writing a story is to share with you the first “cool” image from the film starring Timothy Gibbs, Michael Landes, Wendy Glenn, Lluis Soler, Ángela Rosal, Brendan Price, Salomé Jimenez, Benjamin Cook and Montse Alcoverro.

Diving deep into religion and conspiracy theories, 11-11-11 tells the tale of a coming apocalypse in the four days leading up to that date.

“The more of these blogs I write, the more I begin to question my own sanity for writing them. I am at a point now where I am beginning to censor myself, because I feel that no one will believe the words i am writing,” he explained.

“I, personally, have yet to see anything `unexplainable,’ but we have had some very upsetting injuries.

-Two hours after my parents arrived at the location, my dad became very ill and spent the remainder of the day back at the hotel throwing up…”

But the truly cool story begins when, “About four days ago, one of the producers on the film came down to video village… He stood there for a couple of minutes… White as a sheet… After a long and uncomfortable silence, one of the crew members said, ‘What?’” Want to know what he saw? The concept is based on the 11:11 phenomenon, whereby the 11th month of the year 2011 at 11h 11m the eleventh door will open and supernatural entities will enter the Earth. Such creepy and mysterious theory of numerology assures that the 11 is a warning from celestial entities who throughout history have tried to communicate with humans. A gripping story full of tension and psychological terror centered in the lives of three people affected by this strange and terrifying event.

The shooting of this new exciting project by who is currently the favorite horror films director among this new fledging boom of horror film directors, and who is installed in Barcelona from December, begins on January the 17th and that will be released worldwide on November the 11th of 2011 (11/11/11). The shooting will involve scenes particularly scary in what spectacular special FX are concerned, meticulously designed, that undoubtedly will leave the audience horrified by its gripping images. Such spectacular scenes will be happening over the months of January and February in various locations in Barcelona city and surroundings. City that has been chosen as the favorite by many directors when locating their films.

The film is set in New York and Barcelona; with scenes ranging from sequences that depict claustrophobic and psychological disturbing situations, to others where a more graphic kind of horror takes over as in classic horror films. Scenes of great aesthetic appeal that reflect one of the paradigms which Bousman is in seek of: “a reflection of the great terrifying abyss facing man, the fear of the unknown and loneliness”, as already Bousman declared in one of his interviews shortly after moving to Barcelona from Los Angeles.
