]]> Star Wars, as a film franchise, has never really appealed to me. I like the idea of choking some poor, unsuspecting fool with a lasso I made out of Midi-chlorians as I deflect lasers with a sword made of a bigger laser, all while riding a giant laser-spitting robot camel into battle. You might be able to see something like that in the films, but in Star Wars Battlefront, you can live it.

Those puny rebel clown shoes won’t see me or my comically large metal camel coming.

Battlefront releases on November 17 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

]]> EA decided to show a little more of Star Wars Battlefront at their pre-E3 press conference earlier today. The game is still a ways off, but it seems as if they’re taking their newfound responsibility for the franchise very seriously. Battlefront really cannot come soon enough.

Star Wars Battlefront is currently planned for a spring 2015 release.

]]> Ever since Battlefront III was canned when LucasArts was shut down — adding insult to injury is the fact that it was reportedly 99% finished — Star Wars fans have been clamoring for a follow-up to the squad-based spin-off. Now, thanks to EA, we’re getting it. EA just revealed Star Wars: Battlefront in an excruciatingly brief tease that was sadly void of any gameplay. At least we know it’s in the works.
